Gracia is a classically trained actor (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Advanced Acting Shakespeare 2026), classically trained dancer (University of Washington, BA Creative Studies in Dance; Tacoma City Ballet Company Member), and writer based in New York City.
As an actor she is drawn to the villains, the bastards, and the fools; to taboos; to themes of mortality, the in-between, and rebirth; to liberated movement and sovereignty; to myths and ancestral storytelling; to grandeur, massiveness, and scale.
In every role she embodies, there is an enigmatic quality present that lures the audience in. She dares to reveal the corners of ourselves that we would rather not make eye contact with and in the process, encourages us to confront and liberate our own humanity. As a writer she is interested in taking an unflinching look at the corporeal and psychic impact of the stories and propaganda that shape our present paradigm. She often employs surrealism and elements of dance theatre within her stage and film work.
Her most recent authored work, Girl at Mirror, was a one-woman show that she also directed and starred in. Girl at Mirror which premiered at HB Playwrights Theatre in NYC, is a play that explores the link between gender and fascism through a young girl’s demonic transformation into twisted womanhood.
For the summer of 2026, she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’s Shakespeare Advanced Acting Intensive in London. During her time there she trained extensively in voice and body (Linklater Technique, Alexander Technique, stage fighting, singing, and Elizabethan period dancing) and developed a truly resonant vocal and physical presence. Under the brilliant tutelage of the RADA faculty, she worked extensively on sonnets and several characters from Shakespeare’s ouvre including Isabella from Measure for Measure, Hamlet from Hamlet, Hermione from The Winter’s Tale. For the end of term production, she was cast as Prospero in The Tempest, directed and abridged by Nona Shepphard. Her time at RADA instilled in her an unyielding love for the vascular humanity that Shakespeare demands of the performer. In regards to theatre as a whole, the intensive laid bare the truth that the process of theatre-making and sculpting herself into a vessel for storytelling, is the greatest joy of her life. Simply put, her soul came home.
